Cloud Forensics

It’s easy enough to imagine seizing a computer to mine the hard drive, but what do you do when the data is stored in the cloud? The differences between digital evidence in the cloud and digital evidence on computer hard drives create a whole host of issues around discovery, production, and admissibility. A soon to be released book, Legal Process and Requirements for Cloud Forensic Investigations, will explore these issues. For now, you can read the first chapter on SSRN.
