For Andy and Me
Professor Andy Walkover was a much-loved teacher, colleague, and Academic Chair at University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University School of Law). He touched the lives and hearts of all who knew him. Andy was a sound intellectual and brilliant deadhead. He was a hysterically funny social critic and a man who could laugh, particularly at himself. Above all, because he was guided by a genuine love not only for his friends, but also for everyone with whom he came into contact, he was a true healer. Andy loved music and books; his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Lily; and silly conversations.
For Andy and Me was created by artist Donald Fels and generously donated by Tom Richardson. The piece was installed in the law library on November 13, 2015.Tags: Library art, Walkover
