If you need a secondary source on a particular subject, treatises are often excellent choices. They range from simple overviews like Nutshells to multivolume treatises like Federal Practice & Procedure (better known as Wright & Miller). But what treatises are published on a given subject? Georgetown Law Library has made determining this easier by compiling a list of treatises on more than 50 different subjects. Each listing contains a brief description of the work, including denominations such as “preeminent treatise” or “study aid.”
